The following information is an outline of how Amy works on your ceremony to secure date/time and answer other questions. This link is not live on Amy’s website so please keep this email handy for future reference.

Step 1 - Payment/contract
To secure your date and time on my schedule please provide payment of 50% to your package. A final invoice will arrive via email from Yoga Amy LLC for the remaining balance due 3 days before your ceremony so we can make sure all goes smoothly the day of. (meaning your photographer wants to jump into family photos right after and I want to make sure you get those all handled quickly in the best light possible)
step 2 - couples questionnaire
This link provides you access to the information I need to understand your love story from your point of view. (as sometimes the point of view is different from your partner, provide adjectives that represent your relationship, give me funny personal bits and I will edit as I see fit to not embarrass anyone) It is important that you take some time to fill this out so I can write your personalized ceremony. Please fill it out in one sitting and don’t get distracted as it shuts off and you have to start over.
I don’t do couples counseling, however some of the questions I have are good things to ponder about your relationship. Each of you take out a device to fill out the information (tablet, laptop, mobile phone) and answer at the same time and then click SUBMIT.
step 3 - Marriage license details
Get your Marriage License at one of the offices near you and book an appointment with that office so you can both walk in with your drivers licenses and get in and out quickly. I recommend to do this within 30 days of your weddings and the license is good for up to 1 year (if you need to change your date of your ceremony).
You can also pay a bit more to have the marriage license certified mailed to you afterwards so you don’t have to go back to their office.
Keep in mind, if you do a name change that is a whole separate process and if children are involved it is different process as well. Please review thoroughly based on your county you live in.
Step 4 - Recent Photo
I like to have a recent photo of the two of you so when I write your ceremony I can look at it and get a feel of you as a couple. A photo says a lot and I use my intuition as well to write your ceremony. You can send me several photos that show your interests and if you have a family sending me some with your kiddos are great too!
